Did the trial judge's refusal to allow Mr. Mckenzie to represent Goldsberry, deny Goldsberry his right to be represented by the counsel of his choice?

Goldsberry and Myers were tried together for murder and robbery while selling drugs. Goldsberry was found guilty. During a pretrial motion to sever the trials of Myers and Goldsberry, Myers' lawyer informed the trial judge that Attorney McKenzie spoke to her client about the case while Myers was represented, potentially violating rules of professional ethics. She argued that the conversation prejudiced Myers because possible cross-examination by McKenzie might undercut Myers decision to testify. McKenzie said that Myers, made no incriminating admissions to him. Goldsberry's other lawyer, Andrew Jezic, told the court, and the court accepted, that he and McKenzie did not discuss the conversation with Myersthe two maintained a Chinese wall about that conversation. The trial court ruled that McKenzie could not continue to represent Goldsberry but could remain at the trial table. The prosecutor then informed the court that a State witnesses, Ms. Davis testified to the grand jury that she was coached by Mckenzie and Goldsberry, and that the prosecutor might have to call Mckenzie as a witness. The court prohibited Mckenzie from sitting at the trial table.
