Answer to Question 1

Answer: Social inhibition is a reluctance to express emotions that risk others' disapproval; it overlaps with introversion.

Answer to Question 2

Answer: The students who learned the study skills studied for more hours. They also were less likely to smoke or drink alcohol, less likely to leave dirty dishes or laundry around, and more likely to eat healthier foods. When the students practiced self-control in one area, they improved their self-control overall.
