Answer to Question 1

Answer: Researchers measured teachers' flow state experiences and what contributed to them. As you might expect, supportive work environments encouraged flow. In addition, teachers who experienced flow eventually created better work environments. That suggests that the joy people experience at work can create a better work environment for others.

Answer to Question 2

Answer: There is a danger that some personality types come off well in interviews even though they often do not make good employees in the long run. Narcissists such as Shawn often appear knowledgeable and confident during interviews, making them more likely to get hired. Yet once hired and on the job, they do not work well with others and do not take responsibility for their mistakes.
