Answer: A stereotype is a commonly held belief about a group. An example might be that girls are not good drivers or that boys are better in math than girls.

Answer: In 1960, only 35 of bachelor's degrees, 32 of master's degrees, and 11 of doctoral and professional degrees went to women. In 2012, women earned 57 of the bachelor's degrees, 60 of the master's degrees, and 52 of the doctoral and professional degrees.
