Answer to Question 1

Answer: Carol is intrinsically motivated to do work around the house because she takes joy from the activity rather than an external reward.

Answer to Question 2

Answer: Just thinking about money, even in a brief or subtle way, can change people's mindsets. When people were reminded of moneyby seeing Monopoly money or reading an essay about growing up richthey were less willing to ask for help and less willing to give help to others.
