The vibrations from hydrogen bonds in water allows small amounts of red light to be absorbed which,
in turn, reflects and scatters blue light. Information can be found in the section The Water Molecule Is

Upward traveling sound waves are generated in the sofar layer tend to bend back downward. The
reverse happens for downward travelling sound waves. The sound waves bend towards layers of lower
