Answer to Question 1

Symbiotic relationships are the co-occurrence of two species. Their lives are closely interwoven.
Mutualism is a form of symbiosis that occurs when both organisms benefit in some way from the relationship. This type of relationship is rare among marine organisms.
Commensalism benefits the symbiont, but the host is neither helped nor harmed.
Parasitism is when a symbiont uses a host for at least part of its life cycle to obtain food. This is the most common relationship between organisms.

Answer to Question 2

Erosional coasts are new coasts in which the dominant processes are those that remove coastal material. Erosional coasts are different from other types of coasts due to the leading processes affecting them. These processes include things such as stream erosion, plant root probing, glacial activity, rainfall, wind abrasion, and more. Erosional coasts are constantly under attack and are characteristically different from other coasts due to the dominant processes that occur there and remove coastal material.
