Answer to Question 1

TRUE

Answer to Question 2

Habeas corpus is a form that allows someone to challenge the constitutionality of his/her confinement.

The accused petitions the federal district court, and if the writ is issued then the petitioner is brought before the court and their confinement is reviewed.

It is limited in the sense that it may or may not be accepted, it has time restraints, it is a last resort, and there is a limit on how may habeas petitions can be filed.

Dogs have been used in studies to detect various cancers in human subjects. They have been trained to sniff breath samples from humans that were collected by having them breathe into special tubes. The dogs detected 54 of the 55 lung cancer patients as having cancer, detected 28 of the 31 breast cancer patients, and gave only three false-positive results (detecting cancer in people who didn't have it).
