Answer to Question 1

A successful marriage is one in which the couple's expression of commitment to the permanence of the marriage is high. This is the single strongest factor influencing the success of the relationship.

Answer to Question 2

No-fault divorce laws cause an economic hardship for women and their children. When assets are equally divided, often the house needs to be sold and therefore a move will be required. This may result in a disruption of the children's schooling and their friendships. In addition, the age of majority is reduced from age 21 to age 18 and children are no longer considered eligible for child support.

Dogs have been used in studies to detect various cancers in human subjects. They have been trained to sniff breath samples from humans that were collected by having them breathe into special tubes. The dogs detected 54 of the 55 lung cancer patients as having cancer, detected 28 of the 31 breast cancer patients, and gave only three false-positive results (detecting cancer in people who didn't have it).
