Answer to Question 1

Katie Ogan is reviewing requests from Hollywood stars who want to wear one of the firm's evening dresses to the Academy Awards. If a star wears one of the firms dresses, it would be great publicity for the company.
Eleanor Lambert Ltd. and Loving and Weintraub.

Answer to Question 2

''Better'' garments are generally sold in specialty shops or department stores. Possible answers include Dillards, Parisian, or Talbots.
Competitors are other businesses that sell similar items and seek business from the same customers. Possible answers include abercrombie/Limited Too (trendy clothes for teenagers) or Mimi Maternity/Motherhood Maternity (clothes for pregnant women).
Generally, most of the fashion retailers at Kenwood Towne Center tend toward the mid-to-high end; therefore, prices will be set accordingly since, as the text states, ''customers expect expensive items in high-end stores.''

Although the Roman numeral for the number 4 has always been taught to have been "IV," according to historians, the ancient Romans probably used "IIII" most of the time. This is partially backed up by the fact that early grandfather clocks displayed IIII for the number 4 instead of IV. Early clockmakers apparently thought that the IIII balanced out the VIII (used for the number 8) on the clock face and that it just looked better.
