ANS: Families should be an active part of the curriculum by providing some insight into the curriculum through their background. One of the key links is to provide support and respect for the families and show cultural diversity.

ANS: Themes are often chosen from topics that are relevant to children. Topics range from families, pets, grocery stores, dinosaurs, and night sky. Choose topics that engage the interest in young children.
