  Content of conference is based on childs developmental level, using consistently appropriate practices and expectations, avoidance of bias

  Conferencing, phone calls, journaling, e-mail, social media, home visits, active listening, reflecting, I-messages, nonverbal communication, appropriate giving and receiving of criticism, assertiveness versus aggression, conflict resolution strategies, appropriate attitudes of communicating, understanding of cultural differences
