Answer to Question 1

ANSWER: The reporter does not have to prove the abuse, just have enough suspicions that the child may be in danger and is reporting for the protection of the child.

Answer to Question 2

ANSWER: Neglect is not providing for the childs basic needs according to the minimum standards of care. Abuse is physically, sexually, or psychologically hurting a child, resulting in permanent damage.
