Answer to Question 1

ANSWER: False

Answer to Question 2

Prereading allows the teacher to know where emotional support may be needed by students. Some topics in childrens literature can be frightening or traumatic for certain students. Most teachers are aware of who these students might be. Prereading also helps a teacher to practice the tone and inflection for reading, to know how the book might be best presented, and whether or not the book is really appropriate for the lesson.
