ANSWER: By setting the environment up in a way that is stimulating yet safe to the child and providing clear structure that allows the boundaries to be set so that the child is able to correctly control his/her emotion. The correct choice of equipment and materials is vital to the success a child will have and the ability to redirect for a positive guidance outcome.

Answer to Question 2

ANSWER: Object permanence occurs during this stage and children watch a toy being hid and moved. They look for it where it might have moved to. They also investigate cause and effect.
