ANSWER: (1) Involve children in activities and things that concern them. (2) Invest in quality time with each child. (3) Learn the unique way each child communicates with you and teach him or her the way you communicate. (4) Invest in the time and energy necessary with each child to build a total person. (5) Respect infants and toddlers as worthy
people. (6) Model specific behavior before you teach them. (7) Always be honest with the children about your feelings. (8) View problems as learning opportunities. (9) Build security with children by teaching trust. (10) Be concerned about the quality of development that each child has at each stage.

(2) Emotional: feeling, self-perception of others related to self, confidence, and security.
