Answers should include differences in purpose, format, and content. An increase in diversity should be mentioned as a change.

ANSWER:

(See Figure 1.6) excellent piece of literature; depicts diversity as an important but not gratuitous backdrop in a nonstereotyped manner; explores culture accurately, demonstrating diversity within as well as across cultures if appropriate, and avoiding stereotypes; positive contribution to an understanding of the culture portrayed.
