Hotels not only accommodate guests but have a real estate component since the physical property of the hotel is an asset that can be bought and sold.

The Titanic was the largest and fastest transatlantic ship of its time and also had the reputation of being indestructible. When it sank, this provided lots of material for a movie. Hollywood then added a rich/poor angle and romance to the mix, which made the drama even more compelling.
