In one city, 25 out of 100 randomly sampled teenagers say that they smoke.
(a) Consider the hypotheses H0: p =  0.2 versus H1: p > 0.2. Explain what the researcher would be testing. Perform the test at the α = 0.05 level of significance. Write a conclusion for the test. Round the test statistic to the nearest hundredth.
(b) Repeat part (a) for the hypotheses H0: p = 0.24 versus H1: p > 0.24.
(c) Based on your results in parts (a) and (b), write a few sentences that explain the difference between "accepting" the statement in the null hypothesis versus "not rejecting" the statement in the null hypothesis.

There are major differences in the metabolism of morphine and the illegal drug heroin. Morphine mostly produces its CNS effects through m-receptors, and at k- and d-receptors. Heroin has a slight affinity for opiate receptors. Most of its actions are due to metabolism to active metabolites (6-acetylmorphine, morphine, and morphine-6-glucuronide).
