Your neighbor who just gave birth has always been a health nut, is very careful what she eats, and is interested in getting back to her pre-pregnancy weight. What advice could you give her?
◦ Go on a restrictive diet and reduce her caloric intake by 500 calories.
◦ Eat regularly and breast feed, which burns approximately 500 to 1,000 calories.
◦ Consider taking diet pills.
◦ Run at least 5 miles a day to burn an extra 500 calories.
