A class conducted an experiment with their professor. The students only paid attention as a group when she was to the left of the blackboard.
 
  After this was established, they only paid attention when she was three feet from the blackboard, further to the left. Finally, they only paid attention when she was directly in the corner, to the left of the blackboard. This is an illustration of
