You are caring for a patient who is responsive only to painful stimuli. His respirations are 4 and shallow; his pulse is 92 strong and regular; and you don't suspect spinal trauma. What should you do immediately?
◦ Provide ventilations with a bag-mask device.
◦ Provide or direct manual stabilization of the cervical spine.
◦ Provide high flow oxygen by nonrebreather mask at 15 lpm.
◦ Transport the patient.
