  single parent women has not been studied much better than has the Mother work
  of women of color or ethnic origin.

Variables will be mentioned including, but not limited to: class (socioeconomic
status, including education), age, gender (sexual orientation), marital status,
support systems, cultural norms related to power & identity, assurance of child
survival, health and welfare etc.
