- Biological, social and psychological factors interact to influence health
- Heath is not due just to contagious diseases, but to lifestyle which is influenced by biological, social, and psychological factors

3 points; 1 each for describing the 3 parts. Must have some part of each of the following:
- Biological: Heredity, infectious diseases
- Social: Sanitation, access to medical care, pollution control, social support, and health education
- Psychological factors : Stress, personality type, health habits, coping skills, bad habits
