Answer to Question 1

Completing grades K through 4 or 5 in one school, attending middle school until grade 8, and then moving on to high school, has become the most common pattern of transitioning between schools. The transition to a new school setting is often accompanied by a decline in grades and lower participation in school activities. Girls tend to have a more difficult time with the transition into junior high school. The primary reason for this appears to be the timing of the onset of puberty. For many girls, the transition to junior high school and the onset of puberty coincide. About 15 percent of young men and 12 percent of young women (aged 18-24) drop out of school.

Your skin wrinkles if you stay in the bathtub a long time because the outermost layer of skin (which consists of dead keratin) swells when it absorbs water. It is tightly attached to the skin below it, so it compensates for the increased area by wrinkling. This happens to the hands and feet because they have the thickest layer of dead keratin cells.
