Answer to Question 1

Answer: Girls rated as popular tend to be fashionable, attractive, and sociable, but can also be unkind, rude or snobby. Boys rated as popular tend to be seen as cool, athletic, entertaining and a risk taker.

Answer to Question 2

Answer: A clique is a small, exclusive group of friends and acquaintances, containing an average of five to eight members. A crowd is a larger group, often containing several cliques, friendship pairs, and solo individuals. An example of a clique would be a group of four girls and two boys, and an example of a crowd would be a group of students who are involved in sports (the jock crowd).
