How many reserved powers do the states have?

if you read the Constitution The Federal Government was limited not the states or individual. Here in the past few years the people in the Democrat Party whom are in Congress say Federal Law trumps States Laws. When it is actually the other way around. The Democrat Party leaders don't believe in the individual. The other problem is they have nominating judges to the Supreme Court that agrees with them.
