Which of these statements concerning the SAE flare fittings used on hydraulic brake systems is true?
 
  A) Must be single flared
  B) Have a 45-degree taper on the male part of the fitting
  C) Have a 20-degree taper on the male and female parts of the fitting
  D) Have no taper on the female part of the fitting

Question 2

Technician A says that a flexible coupling may be used to connect the steering shaft to the gear input shaft. Technician B says that if the coupling breaks the steering will have a loose feel. Which technician is correct?
