Answer to Question 1

During this time, if the baby is nurtured, loved, and receives affection, he or she will develop a sense of trust and security. Every time a parent or caregiver responds to a baby's cries of distress or needs for attention, the adult sends resounding signals to the baby that the world is a safe place to be in. If, on the other hand, a parent or primary caregiver does not respond to the needs of the baby, or if the baby's distress signals are ignored or neglected, the baby will become insecure and mistrustful of others.

Answer to Question 2

FALSE
