A painter mixing paint for a client starts with 6 1/2 quarts of white base paint. To each quart, the painter must add 2 2/3 ounces of tint. How many ounces of tint are required for this project?

6 1/2 2 2/3 = 13/2 8/3 = 13/1 4/3 = 52/3 = 17 1/3 ounces
