Answer to Question 1

Avoidant types report that they seldom find real love. Hazan and Shaver described these adults as being uncomfortable when too emotionally or physically close to another person. Avoidant attachment types show discomfort with intimacy and are hesitant to trust others. They find it difficult to allow themselves to depend on others. Avoidant types commonly report that they experienced separation from their mothers (emotional and/or physical separation).

Answer to Question 2

In arranged marriages, the family or community is more important than the individual. In many cultures, the most important obligation of parents is to help their children find a suitable spouse, settle down, and have a family. Thus, such marriages increase solidarity between families, kinship groups, clans, and tribes.

Although the Roman numeral for the number 4 has always been taught to have been "IV," according to historians, the ancient Romans probably used "IIII" most of the time. This is partially backed up by the fact that early grandfather clocks displayed IIII for the number 4 instead of IV. Early clockmakers apparently thought that the IIII balanced out the VIII (used for the number 8) on the clock face and that it just looked better.
