If there is no relationship between two quantitative variables, what slope will the line of best fit have?

Taveen probably should not react at all. Four consecutive points above the centerline and one point beyond two standard deviations do not meet the criterion for out-of-control indicators. He should continue to monitor the situation and look for other indications as there might still be a small chance of committing a type II error.
