Answer to Question 1

Var(X) = 0.61 and Var(Y) = 0.45

Answer to Question 2

P(B1  A1 ) = 0.60 = P(B1  A1)/ P(A1 )  P(B1  A1 ) = P(A1  B1 ) = (0.60 )(0.40 ) = 0.24
