Harry then passed away and his heirs sought to obtain his half of the property, claiming the listing severed the tenancy. What result?

Students should discuss how sale of joint tenancy interest severs the tenancy. Issue of whether listing agreement severs unities is close. In Yannopoulos v. Sophos, 365 A.2d 1312 (Pa. 1976), the court held the listing agreement was irreversible and held the tenancy was severed.
