 a. A phlebotomist must use both verbal and nonverbal communication.
  b. It is acceptable to show displeasure with a patient when his or her family is present.
  c. Looking at your watch is an acceptable way to communicate to a patient that you have more work to do.
  d. If patient curses at you, it is OK to curse back.

You have just left one nursing home and collected a lavender top tube for a CBC. This tube is in the car in a resealable plastic bag.
