Employees benefit from having worker's compensation insurance for their work-related injuries in that their healthcare expenses are covered by this insurance. Other expenses, such as time lost from work due to the injury, may also be covered. The employer benefits in providing this coverage in that the employee will not need to sue the employer for work-related injuries and costs.
