Answer to Question 1

Students must give thought to how they imagine they come across to others, or they can try to recall feedback on this that they may have received from others. If instructors feel comfortable in participating in constructive criticism of the students regarding this, he or she can meet with each student individually to give feedback based on how the student's attitude seems from day to day in and out of class. Students should mention at least one aspect of their attitude that they can improve upon, and they should be encouraged to recognize as many as possible, for their own benefit.
