Answer to Question 1

Correct Answer: 1, 2, 3, 5

Answer to Question 2

Correct Answer: 1, 2, 3, 4
The nurse should instruct the patient that this drug may cause darkening of the iris and of the skin around the eyes, as well as increased growth of the eyelashes. These color changes are permanent but will not progress if the drug is discontinued. The patient should also be instructed to use this medication once a day at bedtime as directed. Because this drug may blur vision, using it at bedtime minimizes associated safety risks. The contacts should be removed administering this drug.
