Answer to Question 1

Answer: 1

1. Presbyopia is in the inability to see nearby objects, and is seen in the older client. Typically, the client attempts to hold the paper out from his body to see better.
2. Bringing the paper close would indicate the client sees better up close.
3. Not blinking very often is not a sign of presbyopia.
4. Tearing in the eyes is not characteristic of presbyopia.

Answer to Question 2

2. Dizziness is not a symptom of detached retina.
3. The client does not feel the retina detaching.
4. Pain does not accompany a detached retina.
