Answer to Question 1

Correct Answer: 1,2

CPM continues to be used for joint surgeries and is also being evaluated in other populations such as clients who have had cerebrovascular accident (stroke) and clients who are immobilized and critically ill. The CPM device is not useful for newborn clients receiving phototherapy, adolescent clients receiving pharmacotherapy for acne, or clients in labor prior to delivery.

Answer to Question 2

Correct Answer: 2

Medication administration should be documented as soon as it is given, not 2 hours later, as this could result in a medication error. All of the other data should be documented.
