Men may be embarrassed to discuss health problems or concerns involving their reproductive organs; it is important for the nurse to ask questions in a nonthreatening, matter-of-fact manner. Consider the psychologic, social, and cultural factors that affect sexuality and sexual activity. The words and responses of the client will need to be documented.
