The nurse assesses that a 5-year-old who is in Russell traction is holding his left elbow with the right hand and seems to be in pain. The child will not use the left arm to reach for a toy or a glass of juice.
 
  Based on these assessments, the nurse suspects the child has suffered: a. Muscle spasms
  b. A pulled muscle
  c. A dislocated elbow
