Answer to Question 1

C
Feedback:
More often, a woman enters into a relationship with her newborn tentatively and with qualms and conflicts that must be addressed before the relationship can be meaningful. This is because parental love is only partly instinctive. The tentative behavior does not indicate disappointment with the child's sex, difficulty accepting role changes, or cultural customs that do not include kissing children.

Answer to Question 2

C
Feedback:
Naloxone hydrochloride (Narcan) is a narcotic antagonist that counteracts the effect of narcotic analgesics. It is used to counteract respiratory depression in newborns when a woman has received a narcotic analgesic during labor. Intravenous fluids, oxygen, a heated bassinet, or tactile stimulation will not counteract the effects of a narcotic analgesic given before delivery.
