Answer to Question 2

B
Feedback:
The objective of endocrine therapy is to block or counter the effect of estrogen in the pathogenesis of cancer. The best-known agent is tamoxifen. Use of progestins along with estrogens in postmenopausal women increases a woman's risk for breast cancer. In addition, estrogen is considered to play a major role in the development of breast cancer and as such would not be used. Cortisone is a steroid and would not be used.
