vaccine had been approved for persons ages 15 to 70 years; however, was
withdrawn from the market in 1992
B Wearing long sleeves and pants, and tucking the pants into socks keeps ticks on
the clothing and prevents them from hiding on the body.
C Antibiotics are used to treat, not prevent, Lyme disease.
D Children should be allowed to maintain normal growth and development with
activities such as hiking.
