Answer to Question 1

A, B, D, F
The electronic fetal monitoring paper strip would provide the nurse information on variability, FHR, contraction variability, and contraction duration. It does not give information on the maternal heart rate or fetal blood pressure.

Answer to Question 2

B
Head circumference, bulging fontanels, and separated sutures are the earliest signs of increased intracranial pressure in the neonate. Decreased urinary output, hypertension, and unstable respirations are late indicators.
