Answer to Question 1

D
Using the GTPAL, the answer would be computed as follows:
G = pregnancies = 5
T = full term deliveries = 2
P = premature or preterm deliveries = 1
A = abortions (induced or spontaneous) = 2
L = the number alive = 2

Answer to Question 2

B
Foramen ovale is the opening between the fetal atria to bypass the lungs. Ductus arteriosus is the fetal shunt that shunts blood from the pulmonary artery to the descending aorta, bypassing the lungs. Ductus venosus is the fetal shunt that shunts blood from the liver to the inferior vena cava, bypassing the liver. Ductus pulmonosus is not a fetal shunt.
