Answer to Question 1

A, C, E, F
Rubin (1984) identified the steps that must be accomplished to successfully move into the maternal role as mimicry, role play, fantasy, and role fit. Role conflict and role inheritance are not part of Rubin's steps.

Answer to Question 2

C
Pumping the breasts every 2 to 3 hours while at work mimics the stimulation of the infant and will help maintain milk supply. Breast milk should be thawed under running water. Once thawed, breast milk can be stored in the refrigerator for 24 hours. Introducing a bottle to the infant as soon as possible will decrease the mother's milk supply.
