Answer to Question 1

D
Creating memories or mementos of the child (footprints, handprints, etc) will help with the grieving process. The family experiencing loss is in special need of support, not isolation, through their acute grief response. While placing the mother in a room away from other infants used to be the policy of many health care facilities, it is no longer considered an appropriate policy. Offering the mother sedatives will only delay the normal grieving process.
