Answer to Question 1

A
Response:
Drug therapy is the mainstay of treatment and is important in reducing the viral load as much as possible. Antiretroviral agents do not treat opportunistic infections and are not adjunctive therapy. There is no cure for HIV/AIDS.

Answer to Question 2

C
Response:
The diaphragm is available only by prescription and must be professionally fitted by a health care provider. Condoms and spermicides are available over the counter. Basal body temperature requires the use of a special thermometer that is available over the counter.
